Main House and Entertainment Area
As you approach the main entrance, a pair of large doors welcomes you to your vacation home. The Main House is the heart of the villa where guests gather to enjoy time together. It has an open floor plan that opens to the covered patio and salt water infinity pool. From every room in the Main House you can see spectacular sunsets on the Pacific horizon. The open design is enhanced with 30 ft. high, vaulted ceilings and teak beams. The living area has a large sunken lounge which includes a spacious hand crafted wood bar where guests can enjoy cool tropical drinks, airy indoor and outdoor dining areas with sweeping views of the Jungle and the Pacific Ocean. There are ceiling fans throughout the Main House and patio areas. Because this villa is at 1,000 ft. elevation there are year-round ocean breezes that create a cool comfortable climate.

Gourmet Kitchen
Offering a finely appointed chef’s kitchen with granite slab and custom craftsmanship cabinetry with professional grade appliances. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cookware and cutlery, including an eight burner-two oven range, 2 custom sinks, a full size refrigerator, microwave, two dishwashers, and deep freezer. A spacious center island and a walk in pantry equipped with a dehumidifier for all your dry goods.
BBQ Patio
A state-of-the-art stainless steel gas grill and rotisserie is located on the Rancho Patio overlooking the Jungle and is covered with a large palm-thatched palapa. Offering outdoor dining, cooking and lounging.
Pool & Jacuzzi
The large salt-water infinity pool is truly “one of a kind”; spanning 1,700 sq. ft. it includes a waterfall, shallow beach areas for sunning, a Jacuzzi and an outdoor shower. The pool is covered in cobalt blue glass tiles imported from Asia . As the sun reflects through the water onto the tiles it is as if the pool is bottomless. As you look toward the horizon, the pool’s infinity edge seems to drop into the ocean and sunsets seen from this point are spectacular.
Viewing Terrace
On the second level is a viewing terrace; a morning spent on this terrace with a pair of binoculars will give you an intimate glimpse of the real jungle. From this vantage point you will be able to spot many native birds such as toucans or parrots and perhaps a whiteface monkey or sloth. You can also see several offshore reefs as well as Cano Island and if you are lucky you can see whales and dolphins peacefully migrating along the coast.
Bar
The large bar was hand crafted from native woods by local artisans. It is a wonderful place to recount the day’s adventures.
Living Room and Indoor Dining area
These spacious areas are in the club house building and are part of the open floor plan that include the bar and Lanai.
Lanai or Covered Patio
Adjacent to the pool, this area is where guest retreat after a full day of activities. Exceptional views of the ocean and magnificent sun sets can be enjoyed sitting in our hand crafted bamboo chaise and chaise lounges with plush cushions.

There are two Guest Villas at Mareas Villas, each Guest Villa has four bedroom suites; two on the ground floor and two on the upper level. The upper rooms have a balcony overlooking a garden and the ground floor suites open onto a private garden. Each Guest Villa is just steps away from our nature trails that lead you to private waterfalls and the rainforest canopy. Because Mareas is at 1,000 ft. elevation there are year-round ocean breezes that create a cool comfortable climate.
All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. The Guest Villas have a total of four king beds and eight queen beds. Each bedroom suite has a private terrace, balcony, sitting areas and private baths which are tiled and elegantly appointed
Pacifica Guest Villa provides commanding ocean views and you may also see whales and dolphins peacefully migrating along the coast.
Tucano Guest Villa will immerse you in the unspoiled rain forest, with views of the ocean and jungle along with the melody of tropical birds and monkeys.
Each Guest Villa has four bedrooms suites, two Premium Suites and two Superior Suites.
Master Suites are approximately 1,400 sq. ft. and have a king bed, sitting rooms as well as a private bath with showers that open to the forest.
Junior Suites are approximately 700 sq. ft, and have two queen beds and a private bath as well.
